The Handwerger family has purchased Jamies on Main Cafe located in Stowe, Vermont. They purchased the popular breakfast and lunch eatery from Jamie Persky and Mark Rosman in July. Persky and Rosman will be training Neil Handwerger in the day to day operation of the cafe until October. Neil's father, Alan, is a well known restaurateur in Stowe as he owned the popular restaurant known as Olives for years.

The spectacular Stone Hill Inn, located just off the Mountain Road in Stowe was recently purchased by George and Linda Fulton of Pennsylvania. After a long search which included inns all over the country, the Fultons bought Stone Hill from Amy Jordan who was the property's founder. The inn caters to the luxury market and features nine beautifully appointed guest rooms and very personalized service.

Located in the Stone Block Building in the Heart of Vermont's "Little City", Vergennes Wine is a thriving beverage business with a loyal clientele. Paul's backround with Baker Distributing makes him an excellent fit to take over the reins of the business.

George and Mary Anne Lewis of Baltimore, Maryland have purchased the Brass Lantern Inn located in Stowe from Nancy and Joe Beres. George and Mary Anne will run the nine room bed and breakfast inn with the help of their three children fulfilling their long held dream of becoming innkeepers.

Congratulations and a warm welcome to Brenda and Bruce Grove, the new owners of Middlebury's landmark inn, the Inn on the Green. The former apartment building was converted into an eleven room inn by Micki and Steve Paddock in 1997 who have served as the innkeeprs until selling the inn to the Groves.
